Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
In short
Grabbit is made for playing together, not for collecting data. You don't need an account, we don't ask for your name or email address, and your game data (like custom cards and scores) simply stays on your own phone.
What data do we process?
On your phone: your settings, custom cards and scores are stored locally on your device only. We can't access them and they're never sent anywhere.
In the app: we use anonymised statistics (such as crash reports and which theme is played most) to improve Grabbit. This data cannot be traced back to you as a person. TODO: list the analytics/crash services you actually use (e.g. Apple App Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics).
On this website: we use privacy-friendly, cookieless statistics to see how many visitors the site gets and which pages are popular. This can't be traced back to you either.
Android waiting list: if you leave your email address on this site to hear when Grabbit launches on Android, we only store that address and your language preference. We use it exclusively for that one message and never share it. Want off the list? Email us and we'll delete your address right away.
What we don't do
We don't sell data. We don't show personalised ads. We don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't ask for access to your contacts, photos, microphone or location.
Purchases
Any purchases in the app (such as extra themes) are handled entirely by the App Store. We never receive your payment details; Apple processes those under its own privacy policy. TODO: adjust this to your final pricing model.
Children
Grabbit contains an 18+ theme that is clearly marked and only intended for adult players. The app doesn't collect personal data — not from children either.
Data retention
Local data on your phone is yours to keep: delete the app and it's gone. Anonymised statistics are kept only as long as needed to improve the app. The Android waiting list is deleted once the Android version has been announced.
Your rights
Because we process almost no personal data, there's usually little to request or delete. But if you have questions about your privacy, or want to access, correct or delete something? Email us — happy to help. You also always have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll publish the new version on this page with a new date at the top. Major changes will be announced in the app.
